The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference follows deep concern the brutal acts of aggression against the Lebanese territories which claimed Lebanese civilian innocent lives and caused heavy material causalities in properties and vital Lebanese installations, especially at the level of electricity generating stations, transportation roads and civilians’ homes.
While condemning these repeated Israeli criminal acts against Lebanese territories, the Secretary General reiterates the OIC solidarity with the Government and people of Lebanon, their struggle for the liberation of the occupied part of Southern Lebanon and the Western Biqaa.
The Secretary General reaffirms that these Israeli acts of aggression clearly reflect a true Israeli tendency towards aborting the peace process on all tracks and the lack of desire on the part of Israel to promote peace. The Secretary General calls on the international community to condemn Israel and to compel it to put an end to these wanton acts of aggression against the defenceless civilians, the infrastructures and the vital economic utilities, and demands it to compel Israel to end to its occupation of the Lebanese territories in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy particularly Security Council resolution No. 425, and to make preparations to Lebanon for the losses resulting from its repeated acts of aggression against it territories.
