During the meeting of the Islamic Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Laraki and all the participants expressed protests against all the measures recently adopted by the Indian authorities and which prevented the Kashmiri delegation from reaching New York to participate in the UN General Assembly’s fifty-fourth session.
The Secretary General also met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Mayuaki with whom he undertook a review of the political situation currently prevailing in Niger and the results of the preliminary measures adopted by the Nigerian government for the normalization of the conflict.
