Organization of the Islamic Conference and the International Organizations
The OIC maintains close cooperation with many international organizations. Its Summit and Ministerial Conferences regularly adopt a resolution on: "Cooperation between the Organization of the Islamic Conference and international and regional organizations." The OIC also has two resolutions on its cooperation with the United Nations and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
Every year the United Nations General Assembly adopts a resolution* on "Cooperation between the United Nations and the Organization of the Islamic Conference", and requests the U.N. Secretary General to submit a report** on this question.
The General Secretariat, the affiliated and specialized institutions as well as the subsidiary bodies of the OIC have either Cooperation Agreement or Memorandum/Protocol of Agreement/Understanding with the following international organizations:

The following organizations enjoy observer status with the OIC:
